Blepharoplasty Before & After Photo
What is the Recovery like from Asian Blepharoplasty?
Asian eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty is performed in the office using local anesthesia or under moderate sedation in an operating room. Dr. Yu only uses modern state-of-the-art techniques to enhance a patient’s heritage. The techniques used are personalized to each patient’s age and ethnicity.
The procedure is accomplished in an outpatient setting. Most patients return to home after only a few hours. Recovery is usually one to two weeks, at which time patients may return to work and non-strenuous activities. Mild discomfort, swelling, and bruising are common the first two to three weeks after surgery. Most patients feel confident returning to their public and social lives in 7-10 days. Dr. Kenneth Yu reduces bruising and recovery time with the use of homeopathic and herbal options. Detailed postoperative and aftercare instructions will be provided to each patient.
